One common issue is that the glazing on modern windows is significantly thicker than original period window designs and so an application will be rejected on this basis. It is however possible to find a solution. We are capable of manufacturing modern, efficient windows that satisfy requirements, as was the case with a recent listed building renovation in a Nottinghamshire village. For this particular project we were able to manufacture Victorian style plant on bar windows that were around 10mm thinner than modern designs. And the results were stunning.
